STARTING LINEUP
The listed ranks and lineup are a starting point. The team builder exposes the effect targets and conditions so you can adapt the composition to your encounter.
Open this team in the builder ↗Party, role and execution
Choose movement and kill support for the area, then fight only the targets relevant to the route. Check which effects reward kills, weak points or another trigger and refresh those conditions between packs instead of carrying an inactive bonus across the map.
Recorded partner effects
These are raw structured values from the acquired v1.0.3 player dataset. Effect names determine the unit and target; no unverified damage-total formula is applied. A false same-species stacking flag means another copy does not add that effect.
Contextual text references and cooldown overrides are shown separately where native v1.0.3 evidence supplies them. They require the activation described in the final column and are not unconditional party totals.

Equipment and ingredient plan
The following options are observed in the source build loadout. Recipe quantities use the acquired catalog’s default recipe when an exact item name matches; they are first-tier ingredient facts, not a price, crafting-time estimate or assertion that every alternative must be equipped together.

Stat point priority
Player allocation order for this composition, adapted from the captured guide. This is strategy guidance rather than a measured point budget; change the order when your survival or carrying needs differ.
| Priority | Player stat | Why it comes here |
|---|
| 1 | Attack | Faster defeats help trigger Maraith’s defeat-dependent cooldown support. |
| 2 | Stamina | Support travel between objectives as well as short combat evasions. |
| 3 | Health | Keep a reserve for incidental damage across the route. |
| 4 | Weight and work speed | Give Weight more attention on long loot runs; Work speed belongs to a different activity. |
Recruitment and upgrade sequence
- Recruitment targets: Eidrolon, Maraith, Croajiro Noct, Killamari, Wispaw. Open the linked Pal records for the available acquisition and breeding paths.
- Craft only the Pal Gear needed by the effects you intend to activate, then confirm the effect at the rank you currently own.
- Budget the listed loadout ingredients and upgrade one role at a time; compare the rank 1 and rank 5 records rather than quoting the fully upgraded number on an uncondensed Pal.
Evidence boundary
The factual tables preserve the stated source snapshot. Source-specific recommendations and mechanics have not been independently reproduced in the current game. Exact gameplay rule gaps remain in the coverage notes rather than being filled with invented quantities.
EXECUTE THE COMPOSITION
How to play it
Keep four qualifying allies
Eidrolon counts each other Dark or Dragon party member for 2–6% Attack and Movement Speed. Maraith, Croajiro Noct, Killamari and Wispaw provide four Dark allies, reaching 24% at rank 5; an unqualified replacement removes one contribution.
Secure the first defeat quickly
Focus the opener on a target you can finish instead of spreading damage. Maraith’s 30–60% party active-skill cooldown reduction requires a defeat before it contributes to the next rotation.
Chain defeats through roaming packs
Finish additional weak enemies to trigger Maraith’s cooldown reduction repeatedly. Against a lone durable target, expect fewer refunds because the engine needs actual defeats rather than hits alone.
Use Croajiro Noct for two separate roles
Activate its launch whenever height helps, on the source-listed one-second cooldown. Its separate party-slot 25–40% Dark damage bonus applies against Dark-weak targets without needing to deploy it for the support.
Approach a capture from behind
Weaken the target, move to its back and throw with the back bonus. Wispaw adds capture levels 1–5 only when that positioning condition is met; a front throw does not use its benefit.
Spend height on travel
Glide with Killamari between objectives to use its longer glide and gentle floating. Plan forward routes from elevation instead of returning to walking after each encounter.
MATCH EACH SLOT TO ITS JOB
Loadout choices and preparation
Prepare for repeated travel, ordinary fights and back-bonus captures. Ammunition and sphere stock matter more than choosing the highest single-shot weapon number.
Required equipmentEquipped glider
Equip a glider before relying on a partner that modifies it. A better available glider improves the travel setup, but the Pal’s partner effect does not create an equipped glider for you.
Required equipmentHeavy Assault Rifle
Use Heavy Assault Rifle for economical ordinary-enemy clearing. The goal is a repeatable route rather than the largest possible boss burst. Unlock: technology level 70.
Heavy Assault Rifle →
Required equipmentPlasma Rifle
Upgrade to Plasma Rifle when its materials are sustainable. Faster ordinary kills are intended to feed Maraith’s cooldown-refund loop, not prove a measured clear speed. Unlock: technology level 78.
Plasma Rifle →
Required equipmentSphere supply
Pack a deep Pal Sphere reserve for regular back-bonus throws. Wispaw’s role only helps when the route actually makes those throws.
AccessoriesDogen Emblem
Use Dogen Emblem to raise the trainer damage used for fast ordinary kills. Keep its player and active-Pal recipients distinct.
Dogen Emblem →
AccessoriesDouble Air Dash Boots
Use Double Air Dash Boots for travel between objectives. Their movement function complements the route’s repeated short fights. Unlock: technology level 61.
Double Air Dash Boots →
AccessoriesDark Support Whistle
Equip Dark Support Whistle for the active Dark Pal’s attacks. 5 of 5 default species qualify by type. Only the fielded Pal's Dark attacks receive this accessory's bonus.
Dark Support Whistle →
AccessoriesRing of Mercy
Use Ring of Mercy when converting the trip into a capture route. Control independent Pal damage as well; the player’s nonlethal item is not a universal party ceasefire. Unlock: technology level 18.

PREPARE THE EXACT RECORD
Equipment and supplies
Open the named tier for its ingredients, unlocks and recorded acquisition methods. Resource planning uses its game ID. Generic choices such as “your strongest shield” in the loadout remain choices rather than a fabricated exact item.
Passive records and availability
Check the exact passive’s effect and eligibility before moving it to a carry. An availability label does not guarantee a particular catch, implant or mutation result.
Passive selection and acquisition
These are the captured guide’s build choices and suggested acquisition routes. Use the linked fixed-baseline passive record for its actual effects and eligibility; a proposed route is not a guaranteed roll.
Improve the player's ordinary enemy kills that feed the defeat-triggered roaming loop.
The guide points to a bounty officer: unlock the implant with bounty tokens, then use gold to apply it to the intended carriers.
Use on Dark combatants for their own elemental attacks.
The guide proposes finding a Dark carrier and transferring the passive by breeding or implant; verify availability against the pinned passive record.
Shorten ordinary skill cooldowns alongside the separate defeat-triggered recovery mechanism.
Use a standard-pool carrier obtained by catching or breeding, then transfer it through breeding or the implant route described by the guide.
Support repeated travel encounters and incidental damage between objectives.
The proposed routes are mutation breeding or an implant obtained through ancient-relic recycling; ordinary wild rolls are not the stated route.
UNDERSTAND THE TRADE
What this build turns down
Bringing this party to a boss
Maraith needs enemy defeats. A lone boss provides no recurring defeat trigger during the fight, so replace that slot when repeated small kills are absent.
Reading Croajiro Noct as only a launch tool
Croajiro Noct also supplies a Dark weak-point role in the capture. Assess that condition separately from its launch behavior rather than discarding it as travel utility alone.
Dropping Wispaw because captures are situational
Wispaw needs back-angle throws. Katress is the proposed alternative when sphere economy matters more than meeting that angle condition.
Expecting this to out-damage a specialist party
Most slots serve movement, capture or defeat-triggered cycling. A specialist combat party can devote more of its lineup to damage against one target.
Alternates and flex picks
Change the gliding mode toward fast airborne combat and right-hand firing rather than the default's floating travel.
Acquisition route →Add Dark-Pal Attack support when strengthening the party's Dark combatants matters more than the removed utility role.
Acquisition route →Choose for repeated sphere throws and Neutral-enemy farming, rather than relying on Wispaw's back-angle condition.
Acquisition route →Choose trainer Attack when the distinct-species requirement remains satisfied; its Dark typing can still meet Eidrolon's ally condition.
Acquisition route →BUILD IT IN A USEFUL ORDER
Acquisition and upgrade plan
Build an exploration party around its qualifying elements, then improve the two effects that drive the quick-kill loop. A late member can be a separate recruitment project.
Recruit the exploration lineup
Use the linked species routes for the complete party, with early Killamari and Wispaw available as starting pieces. Check actual breeding pairs for missing members rather than allowing a general breedable label to stand in for a plan.
Preserve Eidrolon's qualifying allies
Eidrolon counts other Dragon or Dark party members for its own scaling condition. When replacing a member, retain a qualifying element and check whether the source Pal is excluded from the count; a visually similar substitute may break the intended bonus.
Rank the two central effects first
The captured plan prioritizes Maraith's cooldown refund, listed from 30% to 60%, and Croajiro Noct's Dark weak-point support, listed from 25% to 40%. Prioritize these quantified repeated-kill effects; Killamari's glider progression is qualitative and its magnitude is not included in numerical totals.
Upgrade the remaining numerical roles
Wispaw's back-bonus capture level rises from 1 to 5 and Eidrolon's value from 2% to 6% per qualifying ally. The guide claims Killamari gains no glider benefit from condensation, but pinned native labels advertise base/S/M/L/XL performance boosts. Their magnitude is unknown and excluded from numerical totals; the no-change claim remains a source conflict.
Equip a glider and reserve spheres
Killamari modifies the equipped glider in this setup, so bring a real glider. Wispaw's condition matters when throwing spheres; carry appropriate sphere stock for the Pals encountered rather than expecting the exploration party to replace those items.
Add Vanguard after the route functions
The source proposes buying Vanguard with bounty tokens, then applying it to the intended carriers. It supports player damage; any resulting benefit to Maraith's refund loop still depends on the actual trigger and is not a separately measured cooldown result.
