Pick a slot for the problem you are solving
The reference’s seven terminal pickups cover Pal defense/element damage, Pal attack, capture scouting, climate/HP and player defense. Effects on the player and effects on Pals are different lines; two similarly named talismans are not proof that every effect stacks.

Fund the extra slots first
The article’s Desolate Church trader coordinate is 63, -412. Its two accessory boxes cost 50 and 300 Dog Coins, totaling 350; seven terminals reportedly award 265, leaving 85 from other sources. Those are source-specific snapshot quantities, so confirm the live inventory and currency before spending. The boxes unlock capacity; they are not another combat accessory to equip.
Build a loadout with explicit tradeoffs
- Use climate coverage to make a route survivable before adding a marginal damage line.
- Choose Pal-focused buffs when partners deliver the damage; choose player defense or attack when your weapon is the plan.
- Mercy-style effects do not automatically stop burn, poison or unrelated Pal damage; control the whole capture setup.
- Weapon holsters and sphere modules are separate equipment systems. The reference Homing Module adds capture strength and aiming assistance, but eligibility and native odds still matter.
- Practice grapple/glider movement on safe terrain, then recheck your final accessory effects after a Palbox swap.
