Prepare a chest route and control the attempt
Follow the technology chain v1 → v2 → v3 and keep the appropriate tool in inventory. In the minigame, make broad angle changes first, release when resistance appears, then narrow the valid range. Existing keys remain another option.
Check the current chest grade and control bindings before a long route. Use a safe chest to learn the controls and group later stops with the map’s chest layer. Reusable access does not guarantee a particular reward or remove travel time.
Reusable lockpicks: success, failure and chest grade
Keep the matching tool in the picking player’s inventory. The native request checks possession and chest grade, then sets a picker lock. Success clears that lock and opens the chest through the path that skips ordinary key consumption. Failure clears the lock and leaves the chest closed; neither result consumes the lockpick in this workflow.
The selected picking-widget map points to WBP_PickingGame_ForDisplay. Its failure handler schedules a restart after 1.5 seconds; success records a true result before closing. A failed attempt is therefore retryable. Closing before a success leaves the native result false: the chest stays closed and the tool is not consumed.
Mimog is a separate activated option. Its recorded cooldowns are 80 / 60 / 40 / 20 / 10 seconds by partner rank, so a flat 60-second statement applies to rank 2. This does not certify every Mimog ability or chest reward.
