The September 4 update supersedes the early uncertainty
Bushiroad’s official update says additional first-edition Dawn of Palpagos shipments were due in September and the second edition was scheduled to ship in late October. The older August report’s “undated/planning only” framing is no longer the latest evidence.
Identify the edition from official details
The same update specifies a Roman numeral II at the bottom-right of every second-edition card. The BP01 product page separately acknowledges a packaging misspelling and says future reprints will correct it. Do not infer an unannounced edition mark from a seller’s box photo.
A shipment window is not local stock
Ask the shop about its allocation, estimated arrival and cancellation policy. Publisher shipping does not mean every country or retailer receives the product on one day. The statement does not establish final print quantity or a resale price.
Separate playing from collecting
For play, compare an available legal deck or singles with sealed product. For a collection, inspect edition, language, condition and authenticity. A visibly different printing does not prove either edition will appreciate or lose value; the announcement is about product supply and identification, not investment returns.
