Four materials, four different jobs
A successful standard Xenolord raid can supply your first owned specimen through its reward egg. Official 1.0.3.101283 assigns Xenolord to that particular reward egg, and incubation hatches its assigned species. No previous-ownership or first-clear-only check gates this egg award.
Slab Fragments feed the summon recipe. Meteorite Fragments serve the later saddle recipe and cannot replace slab pieces. The reward egg is species-bound; an unrelated wild Huge Dark Egg is not the same acquisition route.
| What you have | Next action | What it produces |
|---|---|---|
| Xenolord Slab Fragment | Accumulate 4; craft the standard slab | 1 raid summon |
| Complete Xenolord Slab | Offer at a prepared Summoning Altar | Standard level 65 encounter |
| Victory-awarded Huge Dark Egg | Incubate that particular reward egg | An owned Xenolord |
| Meteorite Fragment | Reserve 30 for the level 66 saddle | Riding gear after ownership |
Use the bound ownership sequence
100,000 is the recipe’s raw work requirement, not a duration in seconds. Crafting speed and world settings affect elapsed time; no conversion to a completion time is assumed.
- Obtain a first Xenolord Slab Fragment and check for the fragment-unlocked slab recipe. Collect four matching fragments, then craft one standard Xenolord Slab. A complete slab obtained from the Feybreak reward route below skips this crafting step.
- Prepare a separate raid base with a Palbox, room for a broad fight, stocked player ammunition and replacement Pals. Keep production buildings away from the battlefield. The Summoning Altar unlock is level 33 for 3 Ancient Technology Points; its recorded construction cost is 100 Stone and 20 Paldium Fragments.
- Before offering the slab, deploy the fighting roster and stage healthy replacements. The captured guide says the standard offer starts a level 65 Dark/Dragon raid and spends the summon even if the attempt fails.
- Use Ice attacks against the Dragon side and Dragon attacks against the Dark side. Clear summoned enemies before they distract allied targeting; replace depleted groups with fresh ones and keep ranged player damage active while the boss is airborne.
- After a successful standard raid, the selected Xenolord egg goes to the summoner’s inventory. If that player is unavailable, the native fallback drops the egg at the raid-camp location. Incubate this particular reward egg for ownership; the self-pair breeding route still needs already-owned parents.
- Once Xenolord is owned, work toward the level 66 saddle and its separate materials. The recorded Xenolord × Xenolord breeding pair requires already-owned parents and cannot supply a first specimen.
| Craft or build | Recorded inputs | Work / unlock |
|---|---|---|
| 1 standard Xenolord Slab | 4 Xenolord Slab Fragments | 100,000 raw crafting work; fragment unlock |
| 1 Summoning Altar | 100 Stone + 20 Paldium Fragments | Level 33; 3 Ancient Technology Points |
Meteorites are the saddle branch
Official 1.0.3.101283 consumes the shared Meteorite / Supply Drop setting, whose default is 180 minutes. The initial threshold is half the configured interval; later checks use the full interval measured from the last successful event spawn. Eligible candidates and lottery checks still apply, so neither threshold promises an exact wall-clock arrival.
An active event excludes its own candidate site. Nearby-player, overlap and base-area checks also affect selection. Destroying the meteorite model clears that site’s active record; clearing a site does not restart the global 180-minute clock. One uncleared site is not a proven block on every event region.
- Check the configured shared interval for your world or server and follow the actual event notification and marker.
- Resolve an active site to make that candidate available again; do not begin a new guaranteed three-hour countdown from the clearing time.
- At a meteorite, handle the encounter and break the meteorite structure before leaving the material behind. The saddle goal remains 30 Meteorite Fragments.
- The bound event paths include Xenogard and Xenovader. They are different species from Xenolord, and neither event replaces its slab raid or reward egg. The evidence does not assign a global region percentage or a guaranteed farming coordinate.
Standard and Ultra have different finish lines
The selected standard Xenolord raid is level 65; Ultra is level 80. Both selected rows can award the species-bound Huge Dark Egg. A standard success therefore supports first ownership without requiring an Ultra clear.
Raid item rewards use a separate recipient rule: damage contributors and players in the extended raid-camp area form the candidate set, then the award requires the player’s group to match the raid camp’s group. Being a nearby observer alone does not establish eligibility. The raid egg follows the summoner separately.
The table lists the fixed successful-raid item entries. Each win also selects one of the three listed Handiwork, Generating Electricity or Cooling handbook entries: quantity one on standard, quantity two on Ultra. Standard requests its indexed summon chants after HP falls strictly below 70% and 40%; Ultra uses 80%, 50% and 20%. Each request advances the summon index.
| Selected raid | Successful item award | Quantity |
|---|---|---|
| Standard — level 65 | Ancient Civilization Core | 3–6 |
| Standard — level 65 | Xenolord (Ultra) Slab | 1 |
| Standard — level 65 | Training Crystal | 4–5 |
| Standard — level 65 | Dragon Skill Fruit: Dragon Meteor | 1 |
| Ultra — level 80 | Ancient Civilization Core | 10 |
| Ultra — level 80 | Xenolord (Ultra) Slab | 1 |
| Ultra — level 80 | Training Crystal | 10 |
| Ultra — level 80 | Xenolord's head | 1 |
Six expeditions: choose a guaranteed fragment channel first
The fragment record has 16 named reward pools: six expeditions, seven camp goals and three treasure pools. These are pool entries, not 16 individual map locations. The pinned native lottery export matches all 16 quantities and weights. Chances below apply when the named pool is rolled; they are not event-spawn or portal-opening chances.
When the missions are unlocked, choose Snow Hard or Volcano Hard as the reliable farm. Each lists 1–2 fragments at 100%. Claim and count the returned fragments until you have four. The other four expeditions can supplement that stock, but each can miss its fragment roll. Mission unlocking requirements and expedition duration are not supplied by these loot rows.
| Reward source | Fragments on a successful roll | Listed chance |
|---|---|---|
| Snow Hard | 1–2 | 100% |
| Volcano Hard | 1–2 | 100% |
| Dark Island | 1–2 | 33.33% (50 / 150) |
| Sakurajima | 1–2 | 33.33% (50 / 150) |
| Sky Island | 1–2 | 33.33% (50 / 150) |
| World Tree | 1–2 | 33.33% (50 / 150) |
Seven camp goals: claim the objective reward
Use these as additional opportunities during travel. Finish the camp objective and claim its goal reward; this is a reward-pool route, not a listed drop from killing an ordinary camp enemy. Each successful fragment roll supplies one piece.
Match the named goal pool rather than assuming every camp in the same region pays a fragment. The map link opens the enemy-camp layer; the acquired data does not bind each of these seven reward names to an individual camp marker.
| Reward source | Fragments on a successful roll | Listed chance |
|---|---|---|
| Sakurajima Goal | 1 | 33.33% (50 / 150) |
| Sakurajima Goal 2 | 1 | 33.33% (50 / 150) |
| Sakurajima Sea Base Goal | 1 | 33.33% (50 / 150) |
| Sky Island Goal | 1 | 33.33% (50 / 150) |
| Snow Goal 2 | 1 | 33.33% (50 / 150) |
| Snow Sea Base Goal | 1 | 33.33% (50 / 150) |
| Yamijima Sea Base Goal | 1 | 33.33% (50 / 150) |
Three treasure pools: inspect the chest reward
These three regional treasure pools can each award one fragment at the listed weighted chance. Add suitable chest stops to an existing trip, then check the reward before counting the piece toward your four-fragment total. The pool name matters: the table does not imply that every chest in the surrounding region uses this pool.
| Reward source | Fragments on a successful roll | Listed chance |
|---|---|---|
| Dark Island 02 | 1 | 33.33% (50 / 150) |
| Sakurajima 02 | 1 | 33.33% (50 / 150) |
| Sky Island 02 | 1 | 33.33% (50 / 150) |
Feybreak Cavern can skip fragment crafting
The separate Viking001_Dungeon_TechnologyBook reward pool contains one complete standard Xenolord Slab. Its recorded selection weight is 2.5 out of 9.9, which is about 25.25% when that pool is rolled. This is a finished-slab shortcut, not a seventeenth fragment source.
Find Feybreak Cavern in the dungeon layer, visit an available entrance, finish the dungeon and inspect its end rewards for the slab. The v1.0.3 map binds Viking001 to 30 of its 170 dungeon portals. Those are mapped entrances, not 30 guaranteed open dungeons or 30 guaranteed slab rewards.
A successful roll gives a slab ready for the standard altar attempt. A failed roll leaves the fragment-and-crafting route available; the percentage is not a promise of one slab in a fixed number of visits.
| Dungeon profile | Reward pool | Successful quantity | Listed pool chance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Feybreak Cavern (Viking001) | Viking001_Dungeon_TechnologyBook | 1 complete standard slab | 25.25% (2.5 / 9.9) |
Budget the complete level 66 saddle
After obtaining Xenolord, unlock its saddle at technology level 66 for 5 regular Technology Points. Craft the Pal Gear with all four materials below. The pinned recipe records 1,000,000 raw work; this also is work, not seconds.
| Material | Required quantity | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Leather | 30 | Saddle recipe |
| Dark Fragment | 50 | Saddle recipe |
| Meteorite Fragment | 30 | Meteor-event material reserve |
| Paldium Fragment | 200 | Saddle recipe |
