STARTING LINEUP
The listed ranks and lineup are a starting point. The team builder exposes the effect targets and conditions so you can adapt the composition to your encounter.

Choose the melee weapon and the correct active interaction for Skutlass Ignis, then attack during safe openings. Check Pupperai, Loupmoon Cryst and Warsect Terra’s individual targets before combining their effects with Solenne’s party condition.
Recorded partner effects
These are raw structured values from the acquired v1.0.3 player dataset. Effect names determine the unit and target; no unverified damage-total formula is applied. A false same-species stacking flag means another copy does not add that effect.
Contextual text references and cooldown overrides are shown separately where native v1.0.3 evidence supplies them. They require the activation described in the final column and are not unconditional party totals.
| Pal | Effect | Rank 1 raw | Rank 5 raw | Target and conditions |
|---|
| Skutlass Ignis | Active value (unit as recorded) | 2900 | 4200 | Activation and gear conditions apply |
| Pupperai | Damage Rate By Equipped Weapon | 10 | 35 | To Trainer; same-species non-stacking |
| Loupmoon Cryst | Attack Speed Up | 15 | 30 | To Trainer; same-species non-stacking |
| Loupmoon Cryst | Active value (unit as recorded) | 1.1 | 2.5 | Activation and gear conditions apply |
| Warsect Terra | Player Inflict Effect Melee Hit Barrier | 5 | 9 | To Trainer; same-species non-stacking |
| Solenne | Shot Attack | 30 | 80 | To Trainer; same-species non-stacking |
Equipment and ingredient plan
The following options are observed in the source build loadout. Recipe quantities use the acquired catalog’s default recipe when an exact item name matches; they are first-tier ingredient facts, not a price, crafting-time estimate or assertion that every alternative must be equipped together.

|---|
| Heavy Assault Rifle | Ranged backup | 70 | 100 Soralite Ingot, 50 Carbon Fiber, 30 Bio Battery, 5 AI Core |
| Dogen Emblem | Attack slot 1 | No technology level shown | 20 Refined Ingot, 30 Bone, 35 Paldium Fragment, 30 Ancient Bone |
| Phantom Ring | Survivability | No technology level shown | 30 Refined Ingot, 10 Plasteel, 15 Pal Metal Ingot, 30 Ancient Bone |
| Warsect Terra's Belt | Bulk | No technology level shown | 40 Refined Ingot, 20 Honey, 35 Paldium Fragment, 30 Ancient Lava |

Stat point priority
Player allocation order for this composition, adapted from the captured guide. This is strategy guidance rather than a measured point budget; change the order when your survival or carrying needs differ.
| Priority | Player stat | Why it comes here |
|---|
| 1 | Attack | Strengthen the player damage used during the activated katana window. |
| 2 | Health | Move Health ahead of Attack while learning the rotation if close-range mistakes end attempts. |
| 3 | Stamina | Allow for both melee swings and the dodges needed to survive the commitment. |
| 4 | Weight and work speed | Pack the melee kit first; prioritize the three combat stats. |
Recruitment and upgrade sequence
- Recruitment targets: Skutlass Ignis, Pupperai, Loupmoon Cryst, Warsect Terra, Solenne. Open the linked Pal records for the available acquisition and breeding paths.
- Craft only the Pal Gear needed by the effects you intend to activate, then confirm the effect at the rank you currently own.
- Budget the listed loadout ingredients and upgrade one role at a time; compare the rank 1 and rank 5 records rather than quoting the fully upgraded number on an uncondensed Pal.
Evidence boundary
The factual tables preserve the stated source snapshot. Source-specific recommendations and mechanics have not been independently reproduced in the current game. Exact gameplay rule gaps remain in the coverage notes rather than being filled with invented quantities.
Immortality recovery in the fixed baseline
Immortality restores its Pal carrier from actual HP damage attributed to that Pal. In the traced normal HP-damage path, shield-only damage restores nothing. Positive damage uses nominal 5% recovery, float32 multiplication/subtraction, truncation toward zero and a minimum request of 1 HP; recovery stops at the carrier’s effective maximum HP and does not revive it. It does not grant the trainer this self-targeted healing. Other damage callbacks and encounter healing-per-second are not established by this rule.
The English source sentence used the regeneration slot (100) in its life-steal placeholder. The actual LifeSteal slot is 5; regeneration raw 100 and Attack raw 15 remain separate effects. The original description and slot conflict remain in the linked passive record.

EXECUTE THE COMPOSITION
How to play it
Approach before activation
Reach melee distance before turning Skutlass Ignis into the katana. Its source-listed ten-second window begins at activation, so travel during that window spends attack time.
Establish the melee-hit trigger
Try to connect five melee hits within five seconds for Warsect Terra’s barrier trigger. Attack-speed support helps meet that condition but does not guarantee every swing connects.
Revert before the window ends
End the katana form before its timer expires to avoid the stated incapacitation. The source’s held-item or Pal Sphere swap is a community workaround, not an independently executed test here.
Avoid the costly finisher
Do not use Iaigiri when the plan requires keeping Skutlass Ignis available: its captured description says that action incapacitates the Pal.
Track the next activation
The captured partner timings list a ten-second effect and ten-second cooldown. Revert safely and watch availability rather than assuming a timer cancellation guarantees immediate reuse.
Use a conventional melee weapon between windows
Pupperai and the melee attack-speed roles still support ordinary melee attacks while the katana activation is unavailable.
MATCH EACH SLOT TO ITS JOB
Loadout choices and preparation
Prepare an ordinary melee fallback and a safe reversion action, not only the temporary katana. The captured sources describe a short activation window; manual cancellation remains a community procedure to test.
Melee weaponsTemporary katana
Activate Skutlass Ignis only after reaching melee range. The source lists a ten-second form with 2,900–4,200 Attack and ten-second cooldown; watch actual availability rather than assuming cancellation guarantees immediate reuse.
Melee weaponsConventional melee fallback
Carry the best appropriate conventional melee weapon for gaps between activations. Pupperai and the Loupmoon attack-speed roles still apply to that weapon category.
Melee weaponsEarly-reversion procedure
Keep a held-item swap available for the source’s early-reversion workaround, such as holding and cancelling a Pal Sphere. This community procedure has not been executed and verified here.
Melee weaponsHeavy Assault Rifle
Carry Heavy Assault Rifle for phases where approaching is unsafe. It is a survival fallback and does not inherit this roster’s melee support. Unlock: technology level 70.
Heavy Assault Rifle →
AccessoriesDogen Emblem
Use Dogen Emblem for the trainer Attack that the katana plan scales from. Keep the active-Pal bonus distinct from the player’s weapon figure.
Dogen Emblem →
AccessoriesPhantom Ring
Choose the Phantom Ring for its source-listed 20% extension to roll and sidestep invulnerability. Use that escape after committed attacks instead of treating it as passive damage reduction.
Phantom Ring →
AccessoriesWarsect Terra's Belt
Use Warsect Terra’s Belt to add both player Health and Defense; the captured item model assigns 25% to each. It is a defensive alternative to another damage accessory.
Warsect Terra's Belt →
AccessoriesAttack Pendant
Use Attack Pendant for the second offensive slot, or swap to Silvegis Emblem when survival consistently ends the attempt. Compare completed damage windows rather than only sheet Attack.
Attack Pendant →
Armor and foodArmor selection
Choose current high-rarity armor with an Attack roll when the melee window is comfortable, or a Defense roll when entering that window causes repeated deaths.
Armor and foodShield capacity
Bring the highest practical shield tier. Warsect Terra’s source-listed 5%–9% triggered barrier is an additional condition, not a substitute for the normal shield pool.
Armor and foodMozzarina Cheeseburger
Eat Mozzarina Cheeseburger before engaging for the source-listed 20% Attack food buff. Choose between Attack and Defense food for the same recipient; the plan does not add the two together.
Mozzarina Cheeseburger →
Armor and foodMemory Wiping Medicine
Prepare Memory Wiping Medicine before reallocating player status points, so a mistaken distribution can be reset without abandoning the character.

PREPARE THE EXACT RECORD
Equipment and supplies
Open the named tier for its ingredients, unlocks and recorded acquisition methods. Resource planning uses its game ID. Generic choices such as “your strongest shield” in the loadout remain choices rather than a fabricated exact item.
Passive records and availability
Check the exact passive’s effect and eligibility before moving it to a carry. An availability label does not guarantee a particular catch, implant or mutation result.
Passive selection and acquisition
These are the captured guide’s build choices and suggested acquisition routes. Use the linked fixed-baseline passive record for its actual effects and eligibility; a proposed route is not a guaranteed roll.
Improve the trainer's damage base used by the living-weapon plan.
The guide points to a bounty officer: unlock the implant with bounty tokens, then use gold to apply it to the intended carriers.
Prioritize survival during the forced close-range katana window.
The captured route normally uses the bounty-officer implant unlock, followed by gold applications to the selected carriers.
Nominal 5% LifeSteal restores the Pal carrying Immortality from eligible actual HP damage, with native truncation/minimum and an effective HP cap. It grants no trainer healing and does not establish an encounter healing-per-second result.
The capture proposes mutation breeding or the ancient-relic implant route rather than ordinary wild catches.
Add the relevant recovery and status-protection roles after the two main trainer implants.
The proposed routes are mutation breeding or an implant obtained through ancient-relic recycling; ordinary wild rolls are not the stated route.
UNDERSTAND THE TRADE
What this build turns down
Running both Loupmoon forms for 60% attack speed
A second Loupmoon can improve melee speed while retaining distinct species. It still costs a slot, so the suggested comparison is against Warsect Terra rather than discarding Solenne by default.
Bushi Noct over Pupperai for melee damage
Bushi Noct's captured description imposes a confusing out-of-combat condition. Its larger displayed curve is not enough to certify a useful combat replacement without resolving that condition.
Dropping Skutlass Ignis for a normal weapon
A conventional weapon is a valid stronger alternative acknowledged by the source. Keeping Skutlass preserves the living-weapon concept and its activation constraints rather than silently changing the build.
Treating the Warsect Terra barrier as real mitigation
The barrier is a small reward for landing a rapid melee sequence. Silvegis supplies a different shield-support role, so do not present the trigger-based barrier as equivalent protection.
Alternates and flex picks
Add the base Loupmoon as the source's compatible melee-speed partner to the Cryst form, accounting for the slot displaced.
Acquisition route →Replace the small barrier role with trainer Attack support when offense is the priority.
Acquisition route →Treat the larger melee curve as conditional and unresolved because the captured description says it applies outside combat. Test the condition before depending on it.
Acquisition route →Exchange a damage or barrier slot for player shield support if close-range survival prevents completing the katana window.
Acquisition route →BUILD IT IN A USEFUL ORDER
Acquisition and upgrade plan
Obtain the exact Skutlass Ignis form before developing the melee supports. The transformation and safe reversion sequence need practice as well as numerical investment.
Recruit the five melee roles
Use the linked routes for the full party and check the actual breeding pairs for Skutlass Ignis. Its unusual acquisition is separate from the more ordinary support catches; the base form is not automatically an equivalent weapon.
Prioritize Skutlass Ignis condensation
The recorded transformation Attack value rises from 2,900 at rank 1 to 4,200 at rank 5. Improve that exact copy first because it supplies the intended katana, while keeping the weapon value distinct from measured damage against a particular enemy.
Finish the other rank targets
The source uses Pupperai 35% melee support, Loupmoon Cryst 30% attack speed, Warsect Terra 9% barrier and Solenne 80% Attack at rank 5. Check the weapon, shield and species conditions rather than expecting all four to behave as unconditional mitigation or damage.
Prepare the two-form speed variant separately
The source combines Loupmoon and Loupmoon Cryst, each listing 30% attack speed at rank 5, as a modeled 60% option. It retains Solenne because the forms have different stable species IDs; verify the combined application and the actual breeding route instead of assuming either from family names.
Invest in the defensive trainer passive
The guide prioritizes Stronghold Strategist alongside Vanguard for a close-range party. Its proposed route is a bounty-token unlock followed by gold applications; equip it on the intended carriers before counting its effect.
Practice the safe transformation exit
The source proposes a held-item swap to force katana reversion before incapacitation. Practice that timing on ordinary field targets before a boss, and check the fixed description's risk from remaining transformed or using Iaigiri rather than assuming a cancel is always safe.
