Use this guide to collect Paldium Fragments from the source’s Paldium Crystal node category, compare the acquired conversion and loot routes, and budget the fragment ingredient for a real crafting target. The ID and canonical item links below resolve the earlier English-name lookup ambiguity.
Check Paldium Crystal uses
A stable-ID ingredient scan of the complete 2,388-entry planner finds 321 recipes for 321 different products that consume Pal_crystal_S. The source item’s related-item tables contain 289 rendered entries, a narrower separate view. The local item page joins the complete 321-product graph and preserves its full list through pagination. The examples below are selected targets, not the whole use denominator.

Run and compare the collection loop
- Use the linked map to select a real node or eligible source; check access, equipment and return travel.
- Choose a mining or carrying party whose effects actually target the material and activity.
- Measure collected material over a known interval, including travel and downtime, before calling one route faster.
Linked Pal roles
The crew table above lists the same five source-recommended miners with their actual Mining and food fields. Follow each linked acquisition guide for access; use Tetroise only within its recorded base-worker aura scope.
Evidence boundary
The factual tables preserve the stated source snapshot. Source-specific recommendations and mechanics have not been independently reproduced in the current game. Exact gameplay rule gaps remain in the coverage notes rather than being filled with invented quantities.
The crystal node supplies Paldium Fragments
The farming page uses Paldium Crystal as its node heading. Its introduction and item link identify the collected material as Paldium Fragment: game ID Pal_crystal_S, item icon Pal_crystal_S.webp and canonical item route /items/paldium-fragment. The resource-planner entry links this same ID to the ore-crystal map layer. These are matching identifiers and links, rather than a match inferred from a similar English name.
Ancient Civilization Parts has ID PalCrystal_Ex. The extended internal reference also contains a noncanonical Paldium Chunk, Pal_crystal_L. Keep those records separate when reading a recipe: neither ID is substituted for the fragment ingredient.
Plan a fragment quantity before selecting a source
Read the actual target recipe first. In the pinned snapshot, one Pal Sphere consumes one fragment, so 100 Pal Spheres require 100 fragments before inventory deductions. Ability Glasses use 20 fragments alongside 30 Refined Ingots,10 Ancient Civilization Parts and 5 Ancient Civilization Cores. The different crystal-like materials in that recipe are separate costs.
Use owned materials and batch output counts in the planner. Source work amounts are record units, not seconds, and a static node count is not an items-per-hour rate.
Every acquired node is on the main-region map
The acquired ore-crystal layer contains 2,080 distinct placement IDs, across three observed Paldium spawner class families. The World Tree layer has no corresponding ore-crystal category in this snapshot. Open the main layer to inspect all placements, then choose nearby routes and carrying capacity for a practical trip.
The source provides 10 ranked cluster suggestions, with the top group reporting 15 nodes. Those ten suggested groups do not partition all 2,080 placements, and the source does not expose its clustering radius. Their counts describe source grouping, not a guaranteed number of currently spawned deposits or a verified travel-time ranking.

Choose a reachable miner, then separate base auras from travel
The source recommends the following five Pals for mining. Their listed suitability and food values are real pinned roster fields; they are not measured harvest speeds. A late-game species is useful only after you can obtain and deploy it, and a high suitability value does not measure travel, pathing, carrying or manual attack efficiency.
- Take food and spare carrying capacity, and confirm that the worker can reach the selected deposits before committing a base slot.
- Use the linked acquisition or breeding guide for the chosen worker rather than treating a suitability ranking as an early-game unlock order.
- Tetroise’s structured partner effect adds one Mining rank to other Base Pals, excludes itself and does not stack with the same species. That target is base workers; merely carrying Tetroise during a field trip is not evidence of an active-party mining buff.
| Pal | Base mining suitability | Food value |
|---|---|---|
| Aegidron | 8 | 9 |
| Astegon | 7 | 7 |
| Blazamut | 7 | 9 |
| Blazamut Ryu | 7 | 9 |

Prepare the crusher and its actual worker requirement
The Crusher build recipe unlocks at technology level 8 for 2 standard points and costs 50 Wood,20 Stone and 10 Paldium Fragments. Its acquired work requirement is Watering. Gather the initial fragment cost before planning a production chain that depends on this building.
The Cryogenic Crusher is a separate level 54 technology costing 2 standard points. Its structure entry requires Cooling and its build recipe records Electric energy. Its construction materials are 50 Pal Metal Ingots,30 Plasteel,25 Cryogenic Coolant and 20 Corrosive Solvent. The official machine filter now binds the thirteen recipe relations in the table below. The selected official assignment table and native initialization bind Crusher to Watering rank 1 and Cryogenic Crusher to Cooling rank 1. These rows permit basecamp workers and do not permit player work.
Compare purchase, drops and conditional activity pools
The item detail records five of six method categories. Its single shop row is Wandering Merchant, shop ID Wander_Shop_1:70 Gold for one fragment. No stock cap is recorded and the vendor location is not mapped there; that does not establish unlimited stock at every wandering merchant.
The normal Lunaris drop row, stable Pal ID Mutant, lists 2–3 fragments at 100%. Its dedicated acquisition page repeats that exact item ID, quantity and rate. The source lists wild levels 25–49 and a separate level 35 Alpha location; this table is a pinned drop record, not a promise about every encounter variant or world modifier.
There are 11 additional activity-pool rows across expeditions, supply drops, salvage and chests. Percentages below are shares within the identified source pool/slot, not the probability of obtaining a fragment on any arbitrary trip. Runtime eligibility, arrival timing and unmapped locations remain outside these rows.
- The source has one world-mining route and no recorded Ranch source for this item.
- No direct reward row is recorded in the item method summary. That is a statement about the acquired table, not proof that no future event can award fragments.
- Use incidental loot or Lunaris drops when they fit another task; compare their time cost with a nearby node route or available production inputs.
| Source pool ID | Activity | Recorded quantity | Source pool share |
|---|---|---|---|
| Expedition_Forest | expedition | 20–40 | 100% |

Questions the source can answer, and the remaining limits
- Which item should I search for? Paldium Fragment, ID Pal_crystal_S; the Crystal heading names the node category.
- How many nodes are available in this snapshot?2,080 static main-region placements. The extracted data does not supply per-node yield or a respawn timer.
- Which spot is best? The reference’s first ranked suggestion is near[-622,267] with 15 source-grouped nodes. Access, hazards and measured round-trip time still determine whether it is best for your save.
- Which Pal is fastest? Aegidron has Mining 8 and the other four listed crew candidates have Mining 7 in this snapshot. No native throughput benchmark accompanies those values.
- Can I produce fragments without the mapped deposits? The acquired catalog has 13 conversion/recovery recipes, plus one vendor, one Lunaris drop row and 11 conditional activity pools. Their exact access conditions remain distinct.
- Does this certify the current patch? These joins use the fixed v1.0.3 gameplay snapshot and an August 13 source guide. Current-game recipe changes, machine eligibility and measured source rates still require separate verification.
Which crusher accepts each Paldium recipe
The official item categories and actual machine filters establish all thirteen relations below. Stone and Meteorite Fragment are MaterialStone, so both crushers accept them. Ore is MaterialOre and the ten spheres are SPWeaponCaptureBall inputs; those alternatives require the Cryogenic Crusher.
The official assignment map requires Watering rank 1 for Crusher and Cooling rank 1 for Cryogenic Crusher. Both use basecamp workers rather than player work. These are machine recipe-access relations. They do not supply electricity, ingredients, an unlocked machine or an assigned worker. A recorded work amount of 1,000 is not a duration. Crafting a valuable sphere only to recover fragments does not create free materials.
| Input | Input count | Paldium output | Accepted machine |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stone | 5 | 1 | Crusher or Cryogenic Crusher |
| Meteorite Fragment | 1 | 3 | Crusher or Cryogenic Crusher |
| Ore | 2 | 1 | Cryogenic Crusher |
