Choose the task and finish the next step

Start with the base job that is slowing your production. Filter that work track, select the research effect you want, then mark research already completed in your save. The plan includes prerequisite branches and removes their completed costs.

Work from a reproducible starting point

  • Choose one target in the research table or prerequisite map. Its stable research ID identifies the exact node.
  • Check the remaining-node list, not just the target material bill. A shared prerequisite is counted once when several targets need it.
  • Mark completed nodes only when your save has completed them; the planner then treats their ancestors as complete as well.
  • Open the material plan in the resource planner to expand crafting dependencies, or export/share the research state before changing the save.

Evidence boundary

The factual tables preserve the stated source snapshot. Source-specific recommendations and mechanics have not been independently reproduced in the current game. Exact gameplay rule gaps remain in the coverage notes rather than being filled with invented quantities.

Research coverage by work track

All 168 acquired nodes have resolvable prerequisite IDs, and the graph has no detected prerequisite cycle. That validates this imported structure; it does not independently certify the source rules revision.

A prerequisite cost example

Selecting Mining2 requires Mining1. Together their recorded work amount is 200,000 and their material bill is Stone 200, Ore 90, Coal 30 and Sulfur 30. Marking Mining1 complete leaves Mining2 alone: 150,000 work, Stone 150, Ore 60, Coal 30 and Sulfur 30. These values are reproduced by the actual planner.

Work amounts are retained as recorded numbers. No work-to-seconds conversion, worker-speed model or guaranteed completion time is assumed.

Keep a research plan recoverable

The share URL contains selected and completed research IDs. Local storage retains the last plan on this browser when available. JSON export provides a separate copy; unknown node IDs in an import are rejected rather than silently dropped. Clearing filters preserves the plan, while Clear plan removes its selections.
