Use surgery for a deterministic slot

The pinned v1.0.3 OperatingTable record unlocks Pal Surgery Table at level 38 for three regular Technology Points. Its bill is 30 Refined Ingots, 20 High Quality Cloth and 10 Corrosive Solvent. The July reference article instead reports level 36 and omits the solvent. Keep that historical instruction separate from the fixed recipe; do not arrive with only its two-material bill.

Budget the actual worker selections

These are sums of the actual selection fees. Buying or obtaining implants is a separate cost. The listed Work Speed modifiers for these packages total +50%, +100% and +155%; they do not measure items produced per hour. Work Slave also lowers Attack, so consider a separate combat Pal.

Keep breeding for what surgery cannot supply

Choose the species and suitability first, preserve rare/mutation traits and needed skills, then install ordinary missing worker slots. The Artisan Implant is source-listed for 15 Successful Bounty Tokens. A normal reusable implant and a Disposable Implant are different item classes; the official release explicitly says the latter is consumed.

Choose the party Pal and the passive slot

Put the intended Pal in your party, interact with Pal Surgery Table, and select that Pal. The menu lists the party’s occupied slots. Check the existing passives before choosing a slot to replace.

Implant choices require the matching item in the player’s controllable inventory or eligible storage. Essential implants such as Artisan are retained; a disposable implant is used once per successful change. Availability depends on having the item, rather than a permanent unlock.

  • Select the intended passive and a slot. An empty slot can add a passive while fewer than four are present; an occupied slot replaces that passive. The same passive cannot be added twice.
  • Check the selected row’s Gold and implant requirements. Artisan costs 50,000 Gold per successful change; Remarkable Craftsmanship costs 0 Gold and one disposable implant.
  • Confirm only after checking the Pal and slot. Cancel sends no change request. The server charges Gold and consumes the disposable only after the passive change succeeds.
  • Recheck the same Pal’s passive list. Keep the Artisan implant available for the next eligible operation; obtain another disposable before repeating its selection.

Buy the reusable Artisan selection from a Bounty Officer

The pinned Artisan Implant item has stable ID PalPassiveSkillChange_CraftSpeed_up2. Its vendor record lists one implant for 15 Successful Bounty Tokens, with Bounty Officer map leads at 74,−477; 345,361; and −479,−748. Acquire that key item, return to the base table and select the worker you intend to improve. The implant’s listed vendor cost is separate from the per-Pal surgery charge.

Why the older Remarkable budget differs

The older reference lists Remarkable Craftsmanship at 100,000 Gold with a reusable implant and gives the advanced worker package a 170,000-Gold budget. The official 1.0.3.101283 table instead requires its disposable implant and charges 0 Gold for that selection. The correct surgery fee for Work Slave, Insomnia, Artisan and Remarkable Craftsmanship is 70,000 Gold plus one disposable Remarkable implant, with Artisan’s implant retained. The original reference values remain recorded as a source conflict.
