HEALTHY PALS · WORKING BASES

Major Injury

Severe health damage while the Pal is still conscious.

Original server 1.0.3.101283. Medicine eligibility, HP recovery, hunger thresholds, clinic prevention and Palbox timers below are bound to original server code and cooked tables. Medical Supplies of a higher rank can treat lower-rank illnesses. These are vanilla defaults for this build; later patches and custom world settings may differ. Evidence and scope

Recovery steps

  1. Remove the Pal from further damage and let it recover in Palbox storage.
  2. Recovery Meds add 3, 5, 10 or 15 HP per eligible countdown activation and stop at the effective maximum HP.
  3. Check HP and the displayed injury before returning to combat or dangerous work.

Keep the treatments distinct

Named illness medicine clears illness; it does not substitute for HP recovery.

Check the status again after applying the treatment. If it does not change, confirm the exact condition, the item used and the game build before using more supplies.

Recovery rules in 1.0.3.101283

Restore HP to change the injury state. For positive HP, Major Injury is below 30% of effective maximum HP, Minor Injury is from 30% to below 60%, and Healthy begins at 60%, using the game’s fixed-point ratio.

Flat HP per eligible activation; zero HP is excluded from this regeneration route
Recovery medicineHP per activationCountdownInterval
Low Quality Recovery Meds3 HP600 natural updatesEvery 1 update
Recovery Meds5 HP600 natural updatesEvery 1 update
High Quality Recovery Meds10 HP600 natural updatesEvery 1 update
Advanced Recovery Meds15 HP600 natural updatesEvery 1 update

Recovery countdowns decrement once per natural update. The default BaseCampPal scheduler processes one update per elapsed game-world second; Player/Otomo scheduling is not established by that bridge. A 600-tick record is not a universal 600-wall-clock-second effect.

The countdown decreases before the interval check; its final zero tick can heal before clearing. Healing stops at effective maximum HP. Reapplying Recovery Meds replaces the one independent regeneration countdown; ordinary meal buffs use a separate slot. The injury comparison uses a ratio quantized to 1/1000 with float32 arithmetic, so displayed rounded percentages are approximate near a boundary.

Prevent a repeat

Keep food available and remove repeated damage. The inspected starvation update preserves at least 1 HP for a living Pal, but leaves it injured.

  • Observe a full trip from the job to food, rest and storage.
  • Check the current worker assignment and whether recovery opportunities match the workload.
  • Confirm the Pal is healthy before returning it to the same risk.

Source and verification

The workflow is attributed to the public Major Injury reference guide. Palworld Run independently wrote these instructions. The original-server rules above supply application, threshold and timing evidence separately from the earlier descriptions. They are static evidence for the stated build; see the data version and verification notes.

Medicine ingredients reference stable item IDs in the acquired recipe catalog. Owning the ingredients does not prove that the required station or technology is available in your save.
