Inspect the site before placing a permanent Palbox

The reference atlas combines seventeen showcase and progression locations. Coordinates below are reported planning points; terrain, restrictions and nearby spawns need a live-world check. Test enough flat ground for a food/bed loop, station clearance, storage and a raid approach before moving a productive base.

Choose scenery or resources deliberately

The first ten sites emphasize pools, lava, caves, prebuilt scenery, water and World Tree access. The later seven form a practical progression route through starter, ore, oil, Feybreak and Sunreach needs. Water construction depends on valid shallow placement or the Aquatic Construction Kit; official v1.0.3 moved that kit to level 23.

Make a short site acceptance test

• Walk the intended worker route with your largest planned Pal.
• Check boss and hostile spawns separately from the pretty screenshot; the crystal-pool article warns about nearby Jetragon.
• Place temporary foundations, stairs and one machine before spending the full budget.
• Visit at night and in bad weather; confirm temperature, sightlines and exits.
• For caves and ledges, prove that workers and raid traffic can reach the actual entrance.
• For an ocean or World Tree-foot build, confirm the local building boundary rather than assuming the whole biome permits construction.
