Test a remote-production stall before rebuilding
Several products stopping together and resuming on return is consistent with a simulation/resume issue, but is not proof of one unique engine cause. Storage routing, food, task assignment and transport can create similar symptoms. Increasing graphics render distance alone does not establish a fix.
A thirty-minute comparison
- Empty or record one local output chest for Ranch products, crops and one crafting line. Photograph quantities and food.
- Remain beside the farm for ten minutes; keep settings and assignments unchanged.
- Travel elsewhere while leaving the host/game running for ten minutes. Return and record every counter.
- Repeat ten minutes with a player present; if workers still fail, reassign one at a time and record whether output resumes.
Interpret the result
| Observation | Next check |
|---|---|
| All lines advance in every period | No remote stall reproduced in this test |
| Multiple lines advance only near a player | Investigate cell simulation or worker resumption |
| Output appears in a different chest | Check local/Guild Chest routing and filters |
| Production stops when meals disappear | Repair food supply/access |
| Crops grow but nothing is stored | Check gathering and transporting |
| Reassignment alone restarts work | Record a worker-resume reproduction |
Solo and dedicated worlds need different controls
A closed solo host cannot simulate production. On a dedicated server, the process staying online does not prove each base’s workers remain active. Compare unattended time with one player stationed at the farm, particularly after restart or login. Keep critical production near regularly visited activity, use nearby local storage, and submit the controlled reproduction rather than claiming the Guild Chest itself consumes items.
