A fixed reward can beat a repeated loot roll
The reference recommends ancient ruins, hack puzzles and NPC requests for useful midgame schematics. Some locations or rewards can vary by world. A blueprint is not a finished weapon: check the bench, technology and ingredients before routing a distant pickup.
Targets worth checking while you travel
- The source ruin list includes makeshift rifle, metal climate armor, Metal Helm, epic Crossbow, pendant and ring schematics, Feathered Hairband and a later Anubis Talisman.
- Its early Flopie-showing request reports 3,500 Gold and three Homeward Thunderclouds. Confirm the live requested Pal before training or moving it.
- A Feybreak-area request reportedly exchanges ten Nightstar Sand for rare Pal Metal headgear and a Flamethrower schematic. Collect sand at night and read the reward panel first.
- The Wixen request near Victor’s tower and the changed Easygoing-Yakumo request are additional reference leads, rather than proof that older Leezpunk instructions remain valid.
Convert the pickup into equipment
Before the trip, inspect your crafting bench and reserve Pal Oil or other materials the recipe needs. On return, use a suitable Handiwork worker and produce ammunition as well as the weapon. Track completed towers in your own world so a semi-randomized route does not become repeated travel to an already claimed reward.
Current-patch request changes matter
Pocketpair’s 1.0.4 notes specifically change Sakurajima’s Pal Critic request to Dogen and Sunreach’s to Faleris Aqua. That confirms requests can change; it does not independently verify every July reward lead above. Exact world-specific ruin coordinates and a complete current reward matrix remain to be tested.
Nine ruin reward categories from the launch route
The July 12, 2026 guide credits Verlisify’s route. Its nine checklist entries are reward categories, not nine universal coordinates or a complete shrine census. The local terminal guide supplies fixed snapshot locations and reward records; use those pins for a specific route.
| Category in the source checklist | Reason to inspect the reward |
|---|---|
| Life Pendant schematic | Early defensive accessory. |
| Rare Makeshift Assault Rifle | The source uses it as an early firearm upgrade. |
| Cold Resistant Metal Armor | Cold-region armor lead. |
| Heat Resistant Metal Armor | Hot-region armor lead. |
| Metal Helm and elemental Resistance Rings | Head protection and matchup-specific accessories. |
| Epic Crossbow | A reported reachable higher-rarity weapon. |
| Defense Pendant and Attack Pendant | Defense or attack accessory leads. |
| Feathered Hairband schematic | An early headpiece lead near the starting area. |
| Anubis Talisman schematic | A later route for stronger characters. |
NPC requests: bring the requested object or Pal
These are dated route reports. Later official changes to Pal Critic requests show why an old requested species cannot be promoted to a current guarantee. The reward panel in the active world decides the transaction.
| Historical request | Source-reported reward or task | What to check before travel |
|---|---|---|
| Show Flopie | 3,500 Gold and three Homeward Thunderclouds | Read the NPC request; showing a Pal and turning in an item are different tasks. |
| Show Wixen outside Victor and Shadowbeak’s tower | Rare Grenade Launcher schematic plus rare Pal Metal Helmet | Confirm the current requested Pal and the reward panel. |
| Show an Easygoing Yakumo on Feybreak | Rocket Launcher schematic; source says this replaced an older Leezpunk request | Retain the requested Easygoing trait; an arbitrary Yakumo is not the described lead. |
| Bring 10 Nightstar Sand near Feybreak | Rare Pal Metal Helmet plus rare Flamethrower schematic | Collect the material at night, unlock nearby fast travel and read the turn-in panel. |
| Bring 10 Hexolite Quartz | Gold and experience; exact amounts were not supplied | Count ten material units before returning. |
Claim progress rewards from four settlement NPC roles
Talk to these NPCs after other progression rather than planning an invented payout threshold. Carry the requested items or Pal when a panel asks for them. The source does not provide a complete per-stage reward schedule for these four roles.
| Source NPC role | Progress it reportedly rewards |
|---|---|
| Veteran | Boss Pals defeated. |
| Researcher | Different Pal species caught. |
| Fisherman at Fisherman’s Point | Total capture volume. |
| Gourmet at Dune Shelter | The source identifies its reward role but does not give a complete requirement ladder. |
Creator credit and route context
Verlisify is the creator credited by the reference for the overworld mission and ruin run. The tables here are independently written from that saved report; the video itself was reference-cited and was not independently replayed during this repair.
