A stability update rather than a new unlock

The retrieved official v1.0.2 note covers Panthalus dedicated-server disconnects/crashes and Japanese fullscreen text-input crashes. It also corrects host/client terrain and final-boss visual state, disappearing Victor/Shadowbeak after teleportation, mission fades, achievements and controls.

Recheck the affected workflow

Update hosts and clients, confirm versions, retry the exact blocked mission or encounter and inspect the relevant achievement/controls menu. Keep a backup and change one variable at a time if a modded install behaves differently.

Distinguish the follow-up hotfix

The separate v1.0.2.101103 publisher notice addresses an endless loading screen after defeating the World Tree boss and states that crossplay remains unaffected. Keep that later hotfix distinct from the original v1.0.2 release.

The July 29 reference article additionally reports a Mac-specific fix: World Tree terrain could become severely distorted and obstruct normal play. That is the exact platform issue being preserved here. It is absent from the retrieved v1.0.2 Steam body, so it remains a dated reference report rather than an independently confirmed Mac patch note.
