Progression and resource changes
| System | Official v1.0.3 statement |
|---|---|
| Jetragon | Some technology 79→70; riding-gear materials reduced |
| Aquatic kit | Level 66→23; Ancient points 4→1; materials/work adjusted |
| World Tree Holy Water | Longer effect; weight 1→0.1; more reward sources/yield |
| Fiber | Tree yield doubled |
| Ancient Armor | Crafting work adjusted |
| Oil infrastructure | Both extractors and Large Generator cheaper; extractor output faster |
Bases and server administration
The High-Pressure Extractor now also satisfies the base mission asking for an oil extractor. The official note adds bAllowEnemyCampSpawnNearBaseCamp to change suppression of nearby enemy camps; read the server setting description before enabling it. Do not infer exact cost cuts or a production multiplier from the word “reduced” or “increased.”
The official repair groups
| Area | Repairs described in the Steam publisher note |
|---|---|
| Progression | Sunreach mission could be blocked when its barrier was removed before accepting the mission. |
| Co-op and dedicated servers | Client lighting after cutscenes/endings, stutter entering the World Tree, unintended tower-battle fast travel and rapidly vibrating client Pals. |
| Pals | Summoned Pals stopping battle/work; stale Orserk/other partner-effect display; Alpha Surfent failing to produce Ranch Leather. |
| Bosses | Raid battles failing to progress; Panthalus wave visuals not matching their damage area. |
| Construction | Stair/slanted-roof shape detection and stair placement along foundation/roof sides. |
| Rewards and inventory | Normal Moon Lord/Ultra raid reward settings; item duplication; Katress sphere-switch exploit; unintended desert expedition reward; missing Psycho Gravity search result; sphere-launcher firing interval. |
| Holy Water display | Mounted-Pal effect display and a stale aura returning after the effect ended. |
| Graphics and windows | Fullscreen resolution application; window mode reverting after load; whole-screen blur while aiming with certain effects. |
| Sound | Teafant Spring water; distant Attack Chopper music on dedicated servers; Wanted-player music range; wrong furniture/facility footsteps. |
| Controls | Restore-to-default for the enemy-attack binding; settings applied accidentally through confirmation/conflict dialogs. |
| Exploration | Beach-like surface remaining on water after fast travel to an offshore base. |
A useful post-update audit
Update the server and clients, back up the world, check mod compatibility and rebuild only the budget affected by the new recipes. Retest the exact previously failing task. The detailed recipe snapshot supplies numbers that the prose announcement omits; keep those two evidence types separate. Platform-specific console claims require their matching platform notes.
Visual and sound changes in the publisher note
These three changes are stated in the retrieved v1.0.3 Steam publisher announcement. They are separate from the crash and progression fixes.
| Change | What to check after updating |
|---|---|
| Distant boundary markers | Boundaries in some areas received a display adjustment so they are clearer at longer viewing distances. Revisit the same area and viewing distance when comparing. |
| Dungeon objects | Some dungeon objects received a rendering-quality improvement; the note does not name every affected model. |
| Holy Water use audio | Using World Tree Holy Water now has an activation sound. This is a sound addition, separate from its duration and weight changes. |
Console additions reported by the dated reference
The August 12 reference article includes the platform fixes below. They are retained as historical source-reported claims: these three entries are absent from the Steam publisher body retrieved for this article, and this page does not upgrade them to independently verified console release notes.
| Platform | Historical source-reported fix |
|---|---|
| PS5 | Opening Global Palbox with parental controls enabled could cause a crash under particular conditions. |
| Xbox One and Xbox One S | Approaching certain World Tree Field Bosses could crash the game. |
| PS5 and Xbox | The world-selection cursor could disappear after the warning about system settings being too high, preventing further selection. |
